    Philadelphia Wings Twitter Handle Jersey

Posted by Charlie Scott in Branding and Custom Apparel

This history making and award winning custom sports jersey design is a first in American professional sports. For one night only, players' last names were replaced by their Twitter handles. The game worn jerseys were auctioned off during a post-game event and all proceeds benefitted The American Cancer Society.

We were fortunate enough to follow the viral buzz as this project gained national notoriety through exposure on national media outlets like; CNN, ESPN, Sports Illustrated, Yahoo! News, NBC Sports, USA Today, Forbes, and hundreds of sports and social media blogs.

Below are a few media and social media clips, click here to view the full press kit.

"It reminds of the age old sports expression...it's not the logo on the jersey in the front that's important, it's your Twitter handle on the back that's most important"
